That would be a bummer! If someone tries to steal your decals or vandalizes them in someway, we have a one-time replacement policy. Please send us the damaged decal and will provide you with a replacement at a reduced cost.
Q: How do I apply or install the decals? A: Our decals are simple to install, even the large ones. Always clean your surface or window before applying your decals. There are a total of 3 layers to the product. 1)the transfer layer (clear or opaque part); 2)the vinyl decal (your design in your color); 3)the backing paper (white or blue part). Please see our Car Decal Install Instructions page. back to top
Q: How do I pay for my decals? A: We accept secure payments through Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal. back to top
Sorry, no you can’t reuse the decals. The material will stretch as you pull it off so once the artwork has been removed, it is, ummm, time for the trash.
If you would like to have your order shipped outside the U.S. please contact us and we can arrange for delivery. Right now we are concentrating on North America and Great Britan but we can accommodate you if you let us know what you need.
If they aren’t hard to install, how easy to install are they?
Q: Will my windshield wipers effect my decals? A: Not at all. As long as you cleaned your surface prior to applying your decal, then the decal should have no reason to not be securely adhered to your surface. It will be unaffected by your wiper blades. back to top
Q: What are ‘Die-Cut’ Decals? A: ‘Die-Cut’ simply means, that the decal is ‘cut out’ into the shape or design shown in the decal thumbnail image on the product pages. Only the part of the image that is black, will be the decal. There is not a white background. back to top
Installing decals is a surprisingly tactile experience. You might want to work with the practice material one day and do your installation later.
If you think that, call us right now and we will answer your questions and address your concerns.
The best way to remove the decal is to use a hairdryer to gently heat the vinyl. The heat warms up the adhesives and makes it easier to slowly peel the decal off.
Q: What will I be looking for in the mail? A: If you order a decal, 14″ or less, it will ship to you in a stay-flat mailer envelope. If your order is for decals larger than 14″, it will ship in a round mailing tube. back to top
It is best to avoid very wet or cold weather (under 60 degrees) conditions for 12 hours so the vinyl can cling its maximum capacity.
We like to be encouraging but the real answer is – they really aren’t that hard to install.
Our installation video and guide are designed for first-timers who aren’t planning on becoming professional installers. We include tips that we are sure will come in handy. We provide some practice material (that will look great on your garbage can or other large surface) so you get to learn from trial and error. We promise you will be amazed how much you learn from putting on the first piece of practice vinyl.
Q: Where can I apply my decals? A: Our decals are made with the intent on being installed on the exterior of car windows, however you may apply your decals to any smooth or flat surface. You can even apply them inside of a window. It is a good idea to position your decal in your desired spot first, using tape, prior to installing it. This will allow you to get an idea of what it will look like before you permanantly fix it to your surface. back to top
Q: How is my decal made? A: All the decals are made using a vinyl plotter or cutter. The design or logo is cut into a sheet of colored vinyl using a swivel knife that moves back and forth on plotted lines translated by the machine into the design shape. We then add a layer of transfer tape (the clear or translucent part) that becomes useful in applying your decal. back to top
I’ve never done anything like this before so I’m pretty sure my experience will be like yours (unless you have). It actually reminded me up putting in shelf paper and wrapping a present at the same time.
Orders are shipped in approximately five to seven business days.
Installing takes some time and patience but you’ll surprise yourself (and others) at what a great installer you already are! And, we use the best quality material which has properties built into it to help avoid problems like air pockets and bubbles.
The vinyl we use is designed for use on cars, so as long as you follow the directions, your decals will not damage your car’s paint. If the paint is already damaged or the car has been poorly repainted, you might have problems when you remove them. If you’ve gotten a new paint job in the last couple months, ask your body shop about a waiting period.
The material is designed for outdoor use and is laminated that protects the inks. They stand up to weather very well. They won’t fade or crack given average weather conditions. If the weather folks are predicting a vicious sandstorm, move your vehicle inside!
Do I need to do (or not do) anything special after I install my decals?
Q: Where do you ship to/from? A: We ship anywhere in the world. We charge flat rate shipping for every order, just add to cart to see price. All orders ship out of our Texas warehouse. back to top
Any car signs that have adhesive are completely car wash-safe, with the exception of EZ-Stick Vinyl. This includes car wraps, car door decals, car lettering, and rear window graphics. These products are printed with solvent inks that embed into the material and are UV- and weather-resistant.
EZ-Stick Vinyl decals, even those with the Outdoor option, should be removed before washing the vehicle as hard pressure against the material could remove the ink.Non-adhesive car signs (i.e. car magnets) must be removed before entering a car wash, as the brushes will pull them off your vehicle.
Q: Can the decals go through a car wash? A: Definitely! Although you might want to wait a few days after applying the decal before the first wash. back to top
Q: How is ‘Die-Cut’ different than ‘Printed’ vinyl? A: ‘Die-Cut’ is different that ‘Printed’ vinyl in that it is cut into a single color only, and not printed into a full color spectrum, like a computer printer. What this means is that in the images shown on the decal product pages, the part of the design that is black is what is ‘cut out’ into the vinyl. back to top
Q: How do I remove the decals? A: You can use a razor blade on glass. See the Decal Removal heading found under the Car Decal Install Instructions page. back to top
The whole point of MyBeautifulRide is that you can do it yourself!
If you notice your decal peeling make sure you take care of it right way. Hopefully, the material is still sticky and you can just smooth in back down onto the clean car you’re your fingers. If you still have your installation tools left, you can use the smoother or even use your library card to press the material back down. If the material isn’t sticky because it has gotten dirt on it, you can cut that piece off.
GENERAL QUESTIONS Q: How do I apply or install the decals? Q: How do I remove the decals? Q: Where can I apply my decals? Q: Will my windshield wipers effect my decals? Q: Can the decals go through a car wash? Q: What if I have air bubbles after installing my decal?
Most of our designs are a single, large piece, which requires two people to do the installation. One person can do smaller accent pieces quite easily. One of you should definitely be the “lead” while the other person helps with positioning and gently offering suggestions. You can work outside or in a garage. Remember it is nice to be able to stand back a little and look at your work, particularly when you are deciding on the final positioning. Definitely stay out of direct sun light – it’s hard on your eyes and it gets pretty warm working alongside a large heat-absorbing object. Also stay out of the wind – you really don’t want to be working with a giant piece of sticky stuff in the wind! A moderate day (60 to 80) is perfect. For full details see our installation guide.
Q: What if I have air bubbles after installing my decal? A: Not to worry. A day or two in the sun and they should come out on their own. You may need to help push them out with your fingertip. You can also use a pin to make a small hole and let the air escape. back to top
Remember patience is a virtue; there is no award for finishing in 20 minutes. If you are a super careful person, you might even take longer. If everything goes super smoothly, you might take less time.
Q: Is my information secure? A: Absolutely! We only use the information you provide us, for billing and shipping. Rest assured that AnyDecals.com will never sell, trade, or give out your personal information to any other website or company. back to top
I just don’t want to do it myself. Can I have my decals installed professionally?
Sure. But we recommend hand waxing rather than using a power waxer/buffer. The buffer is spinning pretty fast and might catch the vinyl and pull it off. REMEMBER: Do not wax your car before installing your decals because the wax will interfere with the adhesives.
The material we use is actually designed to last 5 to 7 years. Even though the vinyl was developed for vehicles, with the amount of daily wear and tear a car goes through, you will probably begin to see some signs of aging after 3 years. Remember that while the decal is on, it is actually protecting your car from weather and UV damage so the real issue is the aging of the areas of your car not covered by vinyl. You probably don’t want to see a shinny, ghost image so we recommend you remove the decals after 18 to 24 months.
Certainly but only on windows that don’t open. Remember: Make sure you don’t block your visibility!
Q: There is a white background on the product image, is this part of the decal? A: Definitely not. Our decals are die-cut decals. Only the part that is black in the product image is what will cut out as the decal, in the color you choose. The grey AnyDecals.com watermark is there to help emphasize the decal’s finished design. back to top
If the damage prevents you from being able to use the decal you may return it to us and we will supply you with a replacement piece at a reduced price. BUT before you throw in the towel, call us – we might be able to help you salvage what you think is lost.
They shouldn’t. If your paint was very old, oxidized or damaged in some way prior to installation, you may see some residue. In that case, it is best to find an inconspicuous place to try first.
Terry says:I admit it: I have no patience, I rarely think things through, I am truly a klutz and I can get pretty wound up when I’m excited…which is often! In fact, I was so excited when I installed the very first, very intricate decal on my good old Mazda MPV mom-mobile that I whipped through the first side in 20 minutes. It wasn’t the world’s greatest job but I’m probably the only person who sees the little fold here or the bubble there.
Well, we would be disappointed but we understand. We want you to be happy with our experience with MyBeautifulRide from start to finish – even if finishing means not putting decals on your car. Therefore, you may return all unused items within 30 days of the original delivery. We will credit you the return shipping costs if returned within 30 days.
And second of all, please don’t even think you can’t install your decals yourself!
We use vinyl that is designed for vehicle decals and wraps. Plus, we have some helpful tips in our installation video and guide for dealing with the inevitable. And even if you do end up with a bubble or a wrinkle, anyone standing a couple feet away isn’t even going to notice it (so why tell them?)
We strive to make the website as accurate as possible but the colors may be slightly different. The website is an approximation of your decal. We are proud of our designs and color choices and are pretty sure you will be happy with your choice too.
How do I remove my decals after they’ve been on my car for a couple years?
If, despite everything we have said, you still don’t want to install your own decals, you can contact local body, sign or graphic shops. We do not maintain a list of installers but give us a call if you need help finding someone.
PRODUCT INFO Q: How is my decal made? Q: What are ‘Die-Cut’ Decals? Q: How is ‘Die-Cut’ different than ‘Printed’ vinyl? Q: There is a white background on the product image, is this part of the decal? Q: How does the sizing work?
Most of our decals are larger pieces designed for the side of your vehicle. Set aside about 3 hours for the entire installation. There is no rule that says you have to install both sides on the same day so if you don’t have that much time, plan on doing one side later.
SHIPPING Q: How does Shipping work? Q: How long does it take before my order ships? Q: Where do you ship to/from? Q: What will I be looking for in the mail?
Q: How long does it take before my order ships? A: We ask that you please allow 3-7 working days to make your car decals, after which we will ship your order. This is the time it takes us to prep, cut out, process, laminate, and package your items. back to top
Q: How does the sizing work? A: See also, Sizing. Size refers to the dimension that is the longest, either height or width. In this way, you control the long dimension and the other will be less, but still in proportion. Square decals have the same width as height. If you need to know the exact dimensions, just contact us and include the product SKU. back to top
Wait a couple days after you install your artwork but once the adhesives have set, you don’t need to worry about car washes. It is probably best to avoid high-pressure car washes but you can frequent the car wash as much as you want.
Please wait at least 60 days for the paint to fully cure before installation. Talk to the folks at the auto painters for their recommendations.

We use durable and easy-to-remove vinyl material, specifically developed for use on vehicles. It is very similar to the material used for advertising wraps on cars and buses. It also has a special “comply” technology to help you install the decals without getting any bubbles. While some of our designs are cut from single color material, most are printed using special ink and then laminated which prevents fading and protects the artwork.
Q: How does Shipping work? A: Most orders take 3-7 working days to make, then they ship. We ship your decals via USPS, either Priority or First-Class, depending on the overall weight of your order. We offer a flat-rate of $3(within the US), and also international flat-rates. We ship worldwide, however some restrictions may apply. Also see our Shipping & Returns page. back to top
